The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) has demonstrated its commitment to education and inclusive development by refurbishing the ICT Centre of the Dzorwulu Special School and donating new computers, at a total project cost exceeding GH₵157,000. The project also included donations of groceries and bottled water from GSE staff to support the welfare of the students.
The initiative, which forms part of GSE’s corporate social responsibility programme, seeks to bridge the digital divide and provide children with special needs the tools to fully participate in today’s technology-driven world.

Speaking at the presentation, Ms. Abena Amoah, Managing Director of the GSE explained the motivation behind the project. “At the GSE, we believe education is a powerful tool for empowerment, and no child should be left behind. By investing in the ICT Centre of the Dzorwulu Special School, we are ensuring that students with special needs have access to the resources and skills required to thrive in today’s digital world. This project also reflects our commitment to social responsibility and inclusive development.”

On behalf of the school, the Headmaster Mr. Frederick Tetteh expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Exchange. “We are deeply grateful to the Ghana Stock Exchange for this generous support. The refurbishment of our ICT Centre and the donation of computers will go a long way in transforming the way our students learn and interact with technology. The groceries and bottled water from staff also demonstrate genuine care for the wellbeing of our children.”

By supporting the Dzorwulu Special School, the GSE reinforces its position as more than a platform for capital markets but as a development partner committed to national progress. The Exchange has pledged to continue prioritising projects that directly impact lives, with a focus on education, empowerment, and sustainable community development.
