The ARB Apex Bank PLC has commended Capital Community Bank (CCB) in the Bono Region for upholding national banking standards and delivering strong financial performance while supporting socio-economic development in its operational areas.

, said the bank had demonstrated commitment to meeting the needs of its customers, shareholders and host communities through prudent banking practices and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
A speech read on his behalf at the bank’s 21st Annual General Meeting held at Abesim near Sunyani said the CCB deserved commendation for investing GH¢51,267.50 in CSR activities in 2025, supporting education, health, security and other community development initiatives.
Mr Brantuo reaffirmed ARB Apex Bank’s commitment to working closely with community banks to build a resilient, trusted and development-oriented banking network.
He said the Bank of Ghana’s Microfinance Sector Reform Roadmap required all Rural and Community Banks to transition into Community Banks to create stronger, more resilient and modern financial institutions capable of delivering safe, reliable and inclusive financial services nationwide.
According to him, the transition would strengthen corporate governance, improve capital adequacy, enhance risk management systems, modernise technology platforms and promote transparent, standardised operations while improving customer experience and financial inclusion.
Mr Brantuo described the transformation as more than a regulatory requirement, saying it marked the beginning of a new era in which Community Banks would operate with greater capacity and renewed relevance in an evolving financial landscape.
Mrs Patricia Peprah-Agyemang, Board Chair of Capital Community Bank, said the bank recorded significant growth across key financial indicators in 2025.
She said total assets increased by 35.86 per cent to GH¢92.94 million in 2025 from GH¢68.41 million in 2024.
Total deposits rose by 36.47 percent to GH¢79.26 million from GH¢58.08 million over the same period.
Loans and advances also increased by 31.44 percent from GH¢24.22 million in 2024 to GH¢31.84 million in 2025.
Mrs Peprah-Agyemang said profit after tax grew by 48.74 percent to GH¢3.30 million in 2025 from GH¢2.22 million in the previous year.
She added that shareholders’ funds increased by 52 percent from GH¢6.31 million in 2024 to GH¢9.59 million in 2025, reflecting the bank’s improved financial strength and sustained growth.
