The 24-Hour Economy Secretariat has inked a pivotal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ATRI Energy Transition, marking a bold step toward integrating renewable energy and agriculture to supercharge Ghana’s productivity and job creation landscape.
The partnership aligns directly with the government’s 24-Hour Economy blueprint, which seeks to reorganize production, infrastructure, and manpower systems around catalytic projects. “This supports efforts to reorganise production, infrastructure, and manpower systems around catalytic projects that expand productivity and create jobs,” a Secretariat official stated.

Proposed initiatives span a 1,500MW solar farm in Buipe to power industrial growth, large-scale agricultural production for food security and exports, agro-ecological parks linked directly to international markets, and strategic investments in transport infrastructure to streamline logistics.
“This collaboration embodies the 24-Hour Economy’s core vision: transforming Ghana’s economy through round-the-clock productivity enablers like clean energy and value-added agriculture,” the secretariat noted. These catalytic projects will not only create sustainable jobs but also drive fiscal revenues and attract foreign direct investment.

ATRI Energy Transition, a firm specializing in green energy solutions, brings technical expertise in solar PV systems and off-grid innovations. The partnership builds on Ghana’s quest to develop a robust energy system that supports the 24-hour economy.
