The U.S. Embassy in Ghana has announced the availability of more than 2,000 non-immigrant visa appointment slots over the next two weeks for B1/B2 travelers, offering an opportunity for applicants seeking earlier interview dates.
In a public notice, the embassy said the additional slots are available for individuals planning business travel, family visits, tourism, and other short-term trips, including those hoping to attend upcoming international events such as the World Cup.
“We have more than 2,000 visa appointment slots available in the next two weeks for B1/B2 travelers, whether you’re planning a business trip, visiting family, general tourism, or wanting to watch the World Cup” , the notice said.
The move is expected to ease appointment backlogs and reduce waiting times for Ghana-based travelers seeking short-term entry into the United States.
Further details on application procedures and appointment rescheduling are available on the U.S. Embassy Ghana’s official visa information page.
