Fire that engulfed five forty-foot containers used as offices for the Saglemi Housing Project was finally extinguished at 2102 hours on Tuesday evening. The fire, which broke out earlier in the day, was reported to authorities at 1752 hours, prompting an immediate response from local fire services.
The containers, which housed essential administrative functions for the housing project, were completely destroyed in the blaze. Firefighters from the Sege and Devtraco Fire Stations worked tirelessly to bring the situation under control, battling the flames for over four hours.
