A senior executive from the Critical Minerals Africa Group is set to participate in high-level discussions at the upcoming Invest in African Energy Forum in Paris later this month.
Olimpia Pilch, Chief Strategy Officer of the group, will join policymakers, investors and industry leaders at the event scheduled for April 22–23, 2026, where discussions will focus on investment trends, regulatory frameworks and emerging technologies shaping Africa’s energy sector.
Her participation is expected to highlight the growing importance of critical minerals in supporting Africa’s evolving energy landscape, particularly as global demand rises for resources essential to energy transition technologies.
Pilch is also expected to emphasise the need for stronger mineral-to-energy value chains, sustainable resource development and cross-border collaboration to unlock long-term investment and energy security across the continent.
Organisers say the forum will convene key decision-makers from across the energy value chain, providing a platform for dialogue on how to mobilise capital and accelerate growth in Africa’s energy and extractives sectors.
The development reflects increasing global attention on Africa as a strategic hub for both energy investment and critical minerals development, as countries seek to align resource extraction with industrialisation and energy transition goals.
