The “This is Ghana” Exhibition 2025 is officially underway at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra, running from September 6–7. The two-day fair has drawn thousands of visitors on its opening day, creating a vibrant hub where Ghana’s best homegrown products, innovations, and services are on display.
Now in session, the exhibition is more than a marketplace, it is a national platform designed to promote locally made goods, support entrepreneurship, and boost export readiness. Exhibitors are showcasing everything from traditional crafts to modern technologies, offering opportunities for businesses to network, attract investors, and access both local and international markets.
The program also aims to tackle long-standing challenges facing Ghanaian businesses. Many small and medium enterprises struggle with high production costs, limited infrastructure, inconsistent quality, and marketing and distribution barriers.
These challenges, along with regulatory hurdles, often make it difficult for local products to compete with imported alternatives. Perhaps most persistent is the perception that foreign goods are superior to local ones, an attitude still held by many Ghanaians.
By spotlighting high-quality, innovative, and value-added products, the exhibition is working to shift this narrative, demonstrating that Ghanaian creativity and craftsmanship can meet global standards and create lasting opportunities for entrepreneurs.
With interactive showcases, live demonstrations, and a buzzing marketplace, the event is offering an engaging experience for visitors while creating real business prospects for exhibitors.
The “This is Ghana” Exhibition 2025 continues tomorrow, September 7, at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra. All are encouraged to pass by, experience the best of Ghana’s innovation and cultural pride, and support local businesses shaping the country’s future.
