As the Ghana Digital & Innovation Week (GDIW) 2024 approaches, a series of regional events, known as “The Road to GDIW,” will celebrate and showcase Ghana’s digital innovation achievements.
These events, running from September 3 to 19, aim to highlight digital advancements in key regions and set the stage for the main event at the Accra International Conference Centre from October 2 to 4, 2024.
The regional tour started with Tamale on September 3 at Radach Hotel, hosted by Hopin Academy. Next, Wa will host its event on September 5 at the Wa Regional Library, organized by Noni Hub. Kumasi will follow on September 10 at the Great Hall of Kumasi Technical University, with She Hub Ghana leading the event.

Techiman will continue the series on September 12 at the Bonokyempem Hall, hosted by AgriCo Hub. The final regional events will take place in Koforidua on September 17 at GNAT Hall, hosted by Jokoem Consulting Group, and in Takoradi on September 19 at the Takoradi Mall, hosted by Duapa Workspace.
Each event will feature innovation exhibitions, networking opportunities, and collaborative sessions to foster partnerships among government officials, civil society, academia, private sector entities, traditional authorities, and community representatives. The series aims to drive dialogue, exchange best practices, and enhance collaborative actions across Ghana’s digital landscape.
