Services
Hannah Assibey tells The Highstreet Journal that Optimum Property Solutions is not just a facility management company but an avenue for diverse services related to real estate and property management.
“I created more of a property hub to be able to service more than just one need to clients. I can service the needs of the client at multiple stages be it their purchase or just their interest,” the CEO says. The diverse services of Optimum Property Solutions includes but are not limited to the following;
Investment Services/Consultancy: The hub assists clients in identifying, evaluating, and acquiring properties that align with the investors’ interests and investment objectives.
Sales: Optimum Property Solutions also facilitates the sale of properties with special attention to value for money.
Property Management: The company also provides comprehensive day-to-day maintenance, operations, and owner-tenant relations services.
Interior Design: The company also provides bespoke interior design services and renovation works using cutting-edge technologies.
Technology/Innovation
The CEO says technology is an integral part of the operations of the company. For instance, the company is making use of databases on property management systems. Hannah says they are able to service their customers efficiently with these property management systems.
“Property management systems are a huge factor in being able to service clients effectively and efficiently,” the CEO indicated.
One huge technological innovation, Hannah Assibey says is enhancing the company in the industry is Artificial Intelligence (AI). Apart from the other uses of AI, Hannah Assibey says AI and other design platforms have enhanced the interior design aspect of their operations. With this technology, the company can create designs that meet the expectations and admiration of clients.
“You know, AI is a big thing now. So that is being used. There’s a lot of design platforms in terms of designing, you know, if someone comes to you with a new project, you’re able to offer solutions to their design needs,” she indicated.
Business Environment
Commenting on the business environment, Hannah Assibey revealed that she couldn’t appreciate how complicated the environment was until she established her businesses. Due to the enormity of the demands of the environment, she had to employ third parties to manage aspects like taxes and other things on her behalf.
But in general, she believes the business climate in the industry in which she operates is fairly conducive adding that there are opportunities for improvement.
“You know I’ve always worked for a company so we work for a company these things are always sorted out behind the scenes. When I started my own business, I realized that there was a gap in my knowledge as to what would be required in terms of taxes and stuff like that. And it’s way more expensive and way more taxing than I thought. So I had to employ an accounting team to kind of handle that side of the business for me. So, I just basically get an invoice at the end of the month that I am to pay,” she narrated.
She also talks about the competitive nature of the industry within which she operates. Finding space as a start-up in the market with already established companies with huge marketing budgets, she says it’s a challenge but not one that cannot be surmounted. With the limited budget for marketing, the CEO says they are employing very cost-effective and innovative means to market themselves in the industry.
“Marketing is extremely costly. You know a lot of the big developers and the big names in the industry, their marketing budgets are huge. I think that being able to have a budget and finding space. Where can you market your business that will not cost you so much money? And are your clients even in that space? So I think it has been a challenge kind of just finding that balance,” she narrated.

Future and Sustainability Plans
The sustainability of start-ups in Ghana and Africa in general is a major issue. Bracing the storm of challenges to survive and transition to become a larger entity has become a game of chance. A study by renowned Economist, Prof. Ernest Aryeetey reveals that start-ups are likely to die between 5 to 10 years.
Hannah Assibey, being aware of these intriguing statistics, says she and her team are poised to overcome these challenges and grow to become a larger company. It is her vision that Optimum Properties Solutions will become a household name shortly in the area of property management and the real estate industry.
The vision to become a famous brand is not only confined to Ghana but also to become well-known to Ghanaians living in the diaspora.
In the next five to ten 10 years, the CEO’s vision is for Optimum Property Solution to become a “household name and a well-known brand in the industry for consultancy and assisting with all property needs for clients over here and in the diaspora.”
She tells The High Street Journal that one of her numerous strategies to achieve this vision is to build strong relationships. The CEO says she is leveraging her expertise in building and nurturing mutually beneficial relationships to keep her branding growing. She believes that it is the strong relationships that her brand builds with clients and potential clients are what will get her the recommendations that she needs to keep the business afloat.
“I am very good at building and sustaining relationships. Relationship is what will get you referrals. Relationship is what will help you retain business. Relationship is what will have you in people’s minds five years down the line. When you foster the relationship and you give good service, I think service provision is important. A lot of people are focused on, you know, making money in that instance. And for me, I am more concerned about relationships,” she narrated.
She also says Optimum Properties Solutions is committed to enhancing the capacities of its employees through periodic training.
Hannah Assibey believes that is what will keep the staff abreast with new and emerging trends in the industry and enhance their efficiency.
