The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has summoned broadcast journalist and former Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), Paul Adom-Otchere, as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged corruption linked to a revenue assurance audit contract awarded during his tenure.
According to a letter dated July 25, 2025, Adom-Otchere has been identified by the OSP as a suspect in the probe involving the award of a contract between GACL and a private firm for revenue assurance services an arrangement now under scrutiny for possible breaches of procurement laws and suspected corruption-related infractions.
The OSP has directed Mr. Adom-Otchere to appear at its South Ridge office on Thursday, 31st July, 2025, for questioning.
Responding to media enquiries, Mr. Adom-Otchere confirmed receipt of the summons. He disclosed that his legal team had formally requested a rescheduling of the meeting to Monday, August 4, citing ongoing court commitments in Kumasi.
The former GACL Board Chairman, who served in the role until earlier this year, expressed his dismay at being singled out in the investigation.

The OSP’s latest action is part of a broader effort to deepen scrutiny around state-owned enterprises and public procurement compliance.
