The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) will release the 2026 edition of its Annual Statistical Bulletin on April 29, offering a comprehensive snapshot of global oil markets and economic trends used by policymakers and industry analysts.
The report will be unveiled at 14:00 local time at the OPEC Secretariat in Vienna, with the event held via video conference. Secretary General Haitham Al Ghais will present key findings, followed by a discussion with experts from the group’s research division.
First published in 1965, the Annual Statistical Bulletin is one of OPEC’s core publications, compiling data across the energy sector including supply and demand balances, trade flows and upstream activity. It also covers broader economic indicators and includes statistics from OPEC’s 12 member countries as well as partners in the Charter of Cooperation.
General secretary of the organization said, “OPEC’s Annual Statistical Bulletin has become a key tool for many stakeholders across the industry. The importance of reliable, timely and accessible data in supporting decision-making, research and policy development is evident. Thus, OPEC has strived since its founding to enhance its practices related to data collection, processing and dissemination in the interest of transparency and oil market stability.”
The bulletin will be published in both interactive and PDF formats on OPEC’s website, alongside a mobile application compatible with iOS and Android devices. Further details on the release are expected closer to the launch date.
