Old Mutual Ghana has honoured its leading sales advisers, managers and teams at its 2025 Annual Sales Gala, reinforcing the central role of distribution performance in expanding market share and deepening customer trust in Ghana’s insurance and pensions industry.
The event, themed “A Cultural Night of Sales Success,” brought together the company’s nationwide sales force to recognise individuals and teams whose results have supported premium growth, client retention and wider access to long-term financial protection products.
Speaking at the ceremony, Head of Distribution Emma Ocansey said the awards reflect more than strong numbers, noting that advisers are at the frontline of building financial security for households and businesses while supporting the company’s growth strategy. She urged the sales force to sustain momentum through collaboration, discipline and deeper engagement with clients.
Awards were presented across corporate life, pensions, retail, telesales and bancassurance, highlighting Old Mutual Ghana’s diversified distribution model. Top honours went to advisers and managers who excelled in revenue generation, relationship management and portfolio growth, key performance indicators in an increasingly competitive market.
To reinforce its performance culture, the company announced both onshore and offshore incentive trips for outstanding performers, including international destinations. Management said the reward structure is designed to motivate productivity, retain talent and align individual achievement with long-term business objectives.
The focus on sales excellence comes as insurers face mounting pressure to grow premiums, improve persistency and rebuild confidence among policyholders. By recognising both frontline advisers and support teams, Old Mutual Ghana signalled an emphasis on execution and accountability as it positions itself for sustained growth in Ghana’s evolving financial services sector.
