GreyStiles Wellness startup in Takoradi is pivoting toward corporate clients after launching its first community run, as businesses increasingly seek structured health programs to improve workforce productivity and reduce long-term healthcare costs.
GreyStiles Wellness Run Club, founded by Ekela-Wylla Ampah, plans to roll out tailored corporate wellness packages alongside a calendar of recurring community runs, positioning itself at the intersection of fitness, preventive healthcare and employee engagement.

The strategy follows the club’s inaugural event, with a 5-kilometer run alongside basic health screenings, eye checks, nutrition consultations and post-run recovery sessions. The model reflects a broader shift toward integrated wellness offerings that go beyond physical activity. “We’re not just organizing runs, we’re building a culture of wellness in Takoradi, one experience at a time,” Ampah said.

Corporate Ghana is emerging as a key growth channel, with employers showing increased interest in wellness programs that address lifestyle-related conditions and absenteeism. GreyStiles said it aims to design programs that track employee participation and health outcomes over time, providing companies with measurable returns on wellness investments.
Alongside its corporate push, the club plans to institutionalize regular runs, with bi-weekly, monthly or quarterly formats under consideration to drive consistency and community engagement. It is also seeking partnerships with healthcare providers, fitness professionals and wellness brands to deepen its service offering.
The initiative is aimed at promoting preventive health in Ghana, through structured wellness programs . GreyStiles ultimately aims to scale into larger events, including a full wellness festival, as it builds what Ampah describes as a sustainable, community-driven health ecosystem in the Western Region.

“Our wellness experience integrates physical activity with preventive health and lifestyle education, and that remains central to what we are building,” she said. Ampah further showed appreciation to supporters and volunteers including House 2, Melody 91.1 FM, Mega Sight Opticals, DietCare Ghana, Bethel Medical Centre and Bings Digital Studios.
