Ghana will host the 18th edition of the eLearning Africa Conference in Accra from June 3 to 5, 2026, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and eLearning Africa.
The event is expected to position Ghana as a leader in digital learning on the continent, drawing participants from across Africa and globally to exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and strengthen collaboration in education technology.
Deputy Minister for Education, Clement Abas Apaak, described the partnership as a significant milestone in Ghana’s educational transformation. He said the conference would provide a platform to spotlight national initiatives such as the Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project (GALOP) and the Education Strategic Plan (2018–2030), both aimed at improving equity, access, and quality in education.
Founder and CEO of eLearning Africa, Rebecca Stromeyer, said the three day event will attract a diverse range of stakeholders including educators, policymakers, innovators, and development partners, offering opportunities to share knowledge, build partnerships, and explore developments in education and digital technology across Africa.
The agreement underscores Ghana’s commitment to using digital innovation to advance inclusive, high-quality education and support broader development goals.
