King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II will attend the Africa Cinema Summit, scheduled for October 7-10, 2024, at Movenpick Ambassador Hotel. The National Film Authority (NFA) invited the King on September 5, 2024. King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, an advocate for the arts, endorsed the summit’s goal of promoting Ghanaian cinema.
The summit, a pioneering event in Africa, will gather global cinema stakeholders to address industry challenges and opportunities. It aims to foster networking, partnerships, and investment in African cinema. Last year’s inaugural summit attracted filmmakers from 20 African countries, and this edition will focus on enhancing local content quality and driving cinema investment.

Organized by the NFA in collaboration with Filmhouse Group (Nigeria), Silverbird Cinema (Ghana), and other partners, the summit seeks to advance the African cinema industry through collaboration and innovation.
