Cloudmania, the cloud services business of African technology firm Liquid C2, has been named Microsoft’s Partner of the Year for Egypt, recognising its work in delivering cloud and AI solutions.
The award highlights companies that have successfully implemented Microsoft technologies and provided innovative solutions to customers. Cloudmania was selected from more than 4,600 nominations spanning over 100 countries.
Since launching operations in Egypt in 2024, Cloudmania has expanded rapidly, supporting managed service providers, system integrators, and independent software vendors.
Its initiatives, including a Startup Accelerator Programme, aim to provide local businesses with access to Microsoft cloud tools and training.
The recognition in Egypt follows Cloudmania’s previous wins in Ethiopia and Côte d’Ivoire, underscoring its growing presence across the MENA region.
Analysts say the award signals the firm’s strengthening role as a regional distributor of cloud services, at a time when demand for digital transformation in Africa is rising.
Nicole Dezen, Chief Partner Officer at Microsoft, noted that the 2025 awards reflect partners harnessing Microsoft Cloud and AI to deliver impactful solutions worldwide.
Cloudmania operates in multiple African countries, including South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, and others, providing cloud and cybersecurity services to businesses seeking digital transformation.
