Accra is set to host the 2026 edition of the This Is Ghana Exhibition, as Channel One TV and Citi FM bring together Ghanaian businesses, entrepreneurs and consumers for a two-day showcase aimed at expanding market access and promoting locally made products.
The exhibition will take place Aug. 29-30 at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park, providing exhibitors with an opportunity to display their products, engage directly with consumers and build relationships that could develop into longer-term commercial partnerships.
The event comes in the wake of Ghanaian businesses seeking greater domestic demand and improved access to markets amid efforts to strengthen local production and reduce reliance on imported goods. The exhibition is designed to give small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, indigenous companies and innovators a platform to demonstrate their products and receive immediate feedback from potential customers.

Beyond direct sales, the organizers are positioning the exhibition as a business-development platform, where companies can increase brand visibility, identify new customers and explore partnerships with investors and other businesses. Previous editions have attracted businesses spanning packaged foods, beverages, fashion, electronics, health and beauty, home accessories and research innovations.
The exhibition has evolved into a platform for connecting Ghanaian enterprises with institutions involved in trade and export development. At the 2025 edition, the Ghana Export Promotion Authority said the event provided an avenue to identify businesses with export potential and connect them to opportunities in international markets.
The focus on local production also reflects a broader push to increase the economic value generated by Ghanaian enterprises. Organizers have previously said products displayed at the exhibition must be made or assembled in Ghana, reinforcing its role as a showcase for domestic manufacturing, processing and innovation.
The exhibition will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with free admission for patrons.
For participating businesses, the event offers more than a weekend sales opportunity, it provides a direct test of consumer demand and a chance to turn visibility into customers, partnerships and potentially new investment.
