Botswana’s President, Advocate Duma Gideon Boko, recently reached a historic agreement with African business process outsourcing (BPO) provider CCI Global, marking the company’s entry into the country and establishing Botswana as a significant player in Africa’s rapidly growing outsourcing market.
This partnership is Botswana’s first major BPO venture, aiming to create thousands of skilled job opportunities in areas such as data entry, customer support, IT services, and digital marketing. The project will focus heavily on empowering Botswana’s youth by providing essential experience and career development within the expanding digital economy.
CCI Global emphasized that the new BPO hub will enhance Botswana’s competitiveness as a destination for high-quality outsourcing services while also boosting local skills. The company highlighted Botswana’s stable political environment, educated and multilingual workforce, and competitive cost structure as key advantages for its operations.
In addition, the entry of CCI Global into Botswana is expected to drive significant economic growth, supported by robust infrastructure development, government-backed incentives, and a favorable business environment. CCI Global’s investment is designed to position Botswana as a regional leader in outsourcing, spurring innovation and growth in the sector.
