Axiz, a leading value-added distributor in Africa, has entered into a strategic partnership with global cybersecurity firm Kaspersky, aiming to strengthen digital security infrastructure across the continent.
Under the agreement, Axiz will distribute Kaspersky’s full suite of cybersecurity solutions through its extensive channel network. The partnership is set to immediately enhance Axiz’s offerings in threat detection, response, and protection, particularly for businesses operating in increasingly complex digital environments.
The expanded portfolio will include tools for endpoint and mobile protection, as well as specialized solutions for operational technology (OT), Internet of Things (IoT) systems, kernel-based virtual machines (KVM), container security, and cloud infrastructure.
As part of the collaboration, Axiz partners will also be integrated into the Kaspersky channel program. The program operates on a two-tier model designed to offer tailored support and enablement to resellers, helping to deepen market penetration and expand cybersecurity access in underserved regions.
The partnership is expected to support a broad range of industries, with a focus on sectors that have historically lacked robust cybersecurity investment. Businesses with heavy reliance on OT, IoT, and KVM technologies, as well as traditional and cloud-native enterprises, will gain new access to advanced digital protection tools.
Kaspersky emphasized that the agreement aligns with its long-term commitment to Africa, where the company is actively investing in partner networks and regional capacity to meet rising cybersecurity demands. The move also supports Axiz’s ongoing strategy to offer a more integrated and future-proof cybersecurity portfolio for its partners across the continent.
