Africa24 Group has launched an expansive, multi-platform editorial deployment to cover the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, reinforcing its position as one of the continent’s leading multimedia broadcasters.
The pan-African media group announced that it will deliver 360-degree coverage of the tournament across television, digital platforms and social media, offering audiences in Africa and globally immersive access to one of the continent’s largest sporting events. The competition runs from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
The initiative marks one of Africa24’s most significant editorial investments to date, combining live reporting, analysis, feature programming and digital engagement. The coverage will spotlight not only the football action but also Morocco’s infrastructure, host cities, and broader economic and cultural influence across Africa.
As part of its programming slate, Africa24 will air Maroc: Africa, a flagship production exploring Morocco’s development model, industrial progress, diplomacy and role as a regional hub. The broadcaster will also deliver JT CAN, a daily news bulletin dedicated to match results, analysis, team updates and behind-the-scenes reporting.
In addition, Africa 24 Football Club, a daily 26-minute analysis programme, will provide tactical insights, player profiles and expert commentary throughout the tournament.
The extensive coverage underscores Africa24’s strategy to strengthen its footprint in premium sports broadcasting while deepening engagement with audiences across multiple platforms. The group currently reaches more than 120 million households worldwide, with over 8 million followers across digital and social media platforms.
AFRICA24 operates four full HD television channels, Africa24 TV, Africa24 English, Africa24 Sport, and Africa24 Infinity, and runs myafrica24, a global streaming platform accessible across mobile, web and smart TV devices.
