Reverend Kusi Boateng’s assertion of being friends with the President and Vice President without receiving any contracts or money from them has been challenged by North Tongu MP, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. Ablakwa alleges that Rev. Boateng has been awarded government contracts under his second name, Kwabena Adu Gyamfi.
Ablakwa posted on his social media, stating, “From my unimpeachable tracking, all the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government contracts have been awarded to Kusi Boateng’s second identity, Kwabena Adu Gyamfi.” He supported his allegations with cash payment vouchers, revealing that two companies, EL Dunamis Limited and JNS Talent Centre Limited, both allegedly owned by Rev. Boateng under his second name, received payments.

The North Tongu MP claimed that the contracts were single-sourced, with a total payment of GH¢7 million, split into GH¢3.5 million each, made to these companies for supplying paper towels to the Ministry of Health in 2021. According to the vouchers presented by Ablakwa, the first voucher, dated August 17, 2021, lists El Dunamis Limited as the recipient of GH¢3,500,000 for supplying 2-ply multi-purpose paper towels. The second voucher, dated July 23, 2021, records a similar payment to JNS Talent Centre Limited for the same purpose and amount.
Criticizing the transactions, Ablakwa remarked, “I can’t imagine what GH¢7 million worth of tissues looks like.” He highlighted the role of parliamentary oversight in uncovering what he termed a “criminal double identity scheme,” suggesting that without such diligence, Rev. Boateng would have continued to deceive many through dishonest sermons and contract-induced prophecies.
