Africa’s engineering, architecture, construction and real estate sectors are set to converge in Accra in December as the fourth African Continental Engineering, Architecture, Construction and Real Estate Summit (ACEACRES) seeks to put the continent’s infrastructure future at the centre of industry dialogue.
The one-day summit is scheduled for December 15, 2026, at The Conclave Conference Center in Osu, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., under the theme: “Resetting the Built Environment for Sustainable Infrastructure Development Through High-Impact Innovation and Strategic Collaborations.”
The event, organised by the Africa Continental Engineering & Construction Network (ACECN), will bring together engineers, architects, contractors, developers, investors, financial institutions, policymakers, regulators, technology companies, academics and other professionals across Africa’s built environment value chain.
The summit will be headlined by Dr. Daniel McKorley, Executive Chairman of McDan Group, who will serve as Guest Speaker.
From Construction to Technology
ACEACRES 2026 is expected to highlight emerging technologies at the centre of discussions about the future of infrastructure development.
Participants will examine the potential of artificial intelligence, digitalisation, modern construction methods, sustainable materials and innovative financing models to improve how infrastructure is planned, financed, designed, constructed and maintained.
The programme is also expected to create opportunities for participants to move beyond conventional conference discussions towards practical business relationships, investment opportunities and partnerships.
The organisers say the summit will connect stakeholders across the built environment ecosystem, including construction and real estate companies, manufacturers, financial institutions, insurance firms, government agencies, regulators, technology providers, professional associations and development partners.
Industry Backing
The summit has attracted support from a broad range of professional and industry organisations, including the Ghana Institution of Engineering, Ghana Electrical Contractors Association, International Facility Management Association Ghana Chapter, Ghana Association of Real Estate Brokers, Engineering Council Ghana and Real Estate Agency Council Ghana, among others.
A range of companies from construction, steel, cement, real estate, engineering, cables, equipment, logistics and building materials have also been associated with the summit as sponsors, exhibitors and corporate partners.
Media organisations, including The High Street Journal, are also expected to support coverage and dissemination of the summit’s discussions and outcomes.
With professionals from across the continent expected to participate, ACEACRES 2026 is positioning Accra as a meeting point for stakeholders seeking to shape the next phase of Africa’s infrastructure and built-environment development.
