Ghanaian business executive and public commentator Yaw Nsarkoh will headline a public discussion on October 20, as questions about judicial remuneration, professional ethics and public trust continue to feature in national conversations.
The event, organised by JoyNews and an amalgam of professionals, will centre on the theme “Even Judges Must Eat: An Outside-In Provocation” and take place at 5:00 p.m. at Asante Hall, Alisa Hotel, Ridge.
Nsarkoh, a former Executive Vice President of Unilever Global Markets, will be joined by Professor Kwadwo Appiagyei-Atua and Dr Valentin Kwasi Mensah as panellists, with George Sarpong moderating the discussion.

The event comes amid renewed attention to the working conditions of judicial officers. On October 1, the Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana called on the government to improve remuneration and conditions of service across the Judicial Service.
Beyond pay, the theme raises broader questions about the relationship between personal needs and professional obligations. How can society recognise the financial and family responsibilities of judges while ensuring that these pressures do not compromise their independence, impartiality or the fair administration of justice?
The discussion will bring these questions into focus, examining the human realities behind professional responsibility and the ethical standards expected of those entrusted with public duties.
