The 2025 Volta Fair Women’s Forum will place strong emphasis on building the capacity of women entrepreneurs and preparing them to tap into international business and investment opportunities.
Chief Executive Officer of the Volta Fair, Mr. Fredrick Avornyo, announced that the forum scheduled for Wednesday, December 3 is themed “Empowering Volta Women Entrepreneurs for Global Partnerships.”
He said the event aims to provide a strategic platform for women-led businesses to gain the knowledge, networks, and resources needed to compete on the global stage.
In a statement, organisers highlighted that the Women’s Forum is designed to stimulate meaningful dialogue around strengthening women’s participation in international markets.
“We encourage all women in business and emerging entrepreneurs to join us as we deliberate on strategies for global participation,” the statement said.
The forum is expected to convene business leaders, mentors, policymakers, and development partners to discuss key themes including access to finance, digital readiness, branding, export markets, and capacity-building initiatives for women in the Volta Region.
According to the planning committee, equipping women with the right tools, skills, and networking opportunities is vital for expanding the region’s economic presence and fostering inclusive growth.
The forum will also showcase success stories from women-led enterprises and offer practical guidance on how entrepreneurs can leverage global value chains.
The Volta Fair continues to project the region as a growing hub for innovation, investment, and inclusive entrepreneurship, with this year’s Women’s Forum reaffirming its commitment to elevating women’s economic empowerment and international competitiveness.
