My late father once shared with me a story his father (my grandfather) told him on his deathbed. My grandfather said to my father, “Ampofo, I am going to die, and I know that someday you will join me. When you meet me on the other side, I will need an update on whether the Black man has been capable of managing his own affairs.”
My father relayed this to me, saying, “Kofi, this is what your grandfather told me. I don’t know when I will be going, but if it happens soon, I will tell your grandfather that indeed the Black man has not been capable of managing his own affairs. Even though I don’t see the signs of change, I hope things will improve in your generation.”
This statement from my father has been on my mind for years. I pondered what I could do to ensure that when I die, I won’t have to tell my father that the situation remains unchanged and that the Black man still struggles to manage his own affairs.

This reflection led us to develop the PK Amoabeng Scholars Program, a beacon of hope for Africa. I want to tell my father that I left behind a legacy of nurturing the next generation of African leaders with the right mindset and values through the PK Amoabeng Leadership Foundation, aiming to change the narrative in Ghana and Africa at large.
We are embarking on something significant, a mission that may seem impossible, but we believe it is achievable. I am quite optimistic about it. The situation in Africa and Ghana is challenging, and the core issues are leadership and mindset.
The PK Amoabeng Leadership Foundation is on a mission to revolutionize the mindset of Africans, starting from the grassroots level. We focus on young people who need a shift in mindset and faith in their future.

For the past two years, the Foundation has been recruiting young people from tertiary institutions, companies, and corporate settings to change their mindset and develop a culture and values that drive development in Ghana and Africa.
An exciting development is the first cohort of the PK Amoabeng Scholars, who began in October of last year and will graduate on November 7th this year. The transformation of these young men and women has been remarkable; they have embraced values of respect for time and everyone, integrity, and Ubuntu. They are focused on helping others rather than exploitation.
So, if you are a young person eager to make a difference in Ghana and Africa, you should enroll in this second cohort at https://www.pkaleadershipfoundation.org/pk-amoabeng…
We offer military-style training, boot camps, networking with prominent individuals, lectures, and special courses both online and in-person. By the end of the year, you will be a transformed individual, on track to change the leadership narrative in Africa and Ghana.

I am dedicating my life and my team’s efforts to this cause. We will expose you to the networks I have built over the years and provide intentional mentoring, both one-on-one and in groups. There is nothing better than this.
We need to save Ghana and Africa, and this is the path to take. Be a part of it, and together we will win the fight. Africa must rise in the end.
