The High Street Journal is set to participate in the much-anticipated Career Fair 2025 at the African University of Communications and Business (AUCB) on Friday, April 11, 2025. This exciting event, which will take place at the AUCB campus in Adabraka, will gather students and industry professionals for a day of networking, career development, and insightful discussions.
This year’s fair will feature two main panel discussions focusing on essential topics in today’s job market. The first panel, titled Bridging the Gap Between Education & Employment: Career Readiness, will feature Dr. David D. Glaga, an expert in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Portia Gabor, journalist with TV3 Network who is an Alumnus of the University, and Familyin Abbey, a specialist in Career Readiness who will share insights into the skills and preparation required to succeed at the workplace.

The second panel, The Future of Work – Trends & Opportunities, will bring together a dynamic group of professionals, including Chris Worla Essikpe, an international development consultant at HRBIC Ltd; Gifty Akorfa Kumah, a CEDHR consultant and lecturer; and Daniel Dickson-Dogbe, a branch manager at Republic Bank (GH) PLC. They will explore emerging trends and opportunities shaping the future workforce, from advancements in technology to evolving employee expectations.
In addition to the panels, the Career Fair will feature company booths for networking and recruitment, giving attendees the chance to connect with top employers and explore job opportunities.
