Samba Foods Limited has extended its memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Unifa Brothers, a Ghanaian supplier of raw materials and packaging solutions, for a three-month period from January 1 to March 31, 2026.
The company said the extension keeps all terms of the original agreement unchanged and continues to secure the supply of essential materials and operational support for its production facility in Tema.
The partnership between the two companies began in August 2025, following a temporary slowdown in production at Samba Foods caused by the breakdown of its main packaging machine.
The initial MoU, which covered January to December 2025, tasked Unifa Brothers with supplying raw materials and packaging solutions, replacing the primary packaging machine, and providing additional production inputs to restore full operations.
Under the agreement, Samba Foods also produced some finished products exclusively for Unifa Brothers in line with agreed quality standards.
The collaboration was designed to ensure consistent product availability in the market while supporting the company’s operational efficiency.
The current three-month extension continues this operational collaboration, allowing Samba Foods to maintain steady production and supply chain continuity as the partnership carries forward.
