The PK Amoabeng Scholars Program, an initiative of the PK Amoabeng Leadership Foundation, was launched to foster transformational leadership among Africa’s youth. This one-year program provides selected scholars with comprehensive training, including mentorship, leadership courses, seminars, and even military training. The goal is to cultivate leaders with a unique mindset, prepared to address the challenges facing the continent and serve in various fields. The inaugural cohort included 20 young leaders selected from over 1,500 applicants. The program is designed to be an annual initiative, nurturing future leaders to make significant impacts across Africa(
Program Highlights:
- Intentional Mentorship: Scholars will be paired with top CEOs from Ghana, the UK, or the US, receiving personalized guidance and growth opportunities that are tailored to their specific leadership journey.
- Experimental Job Shadowing: Gain invaluable hands-on experience through flexible, tailored job shadowing opportunities in your field of interest, allowing you to learn directly from industry leaders.
- Courses & Seminars: Access leadership development courses and seminars valued at up to $20,000 USD, which will empower you to enhance your skills and broaden your knowledge.
- Networking & Collaboration: Connect with a network of influential leaders and fellow scholars, fostering collaboration and professional growth that will last a lifetime.
- Leadership Camp: Engage in introductory days focused on refining leadership skills and bonding with peers. You’ll unlearn, relearn, and learn innovative and practical tips to maximize your potential and make a lasting impact.
- Military Boot Camp: This one-week immersive experience focuses on building business endurance and discipline through military-style training, challenging your limits, and strengthening your leadership resolve.
