The PK Amoabeng Leadership Foundation has opened applications for the fourth cohort of its leadership scholars programme, targeting young Ghanaians and Africans as it seeks to develop a new generation of ethical and resilient leaders.
Applications for the one-year programme are open from Aug. 3 through Sept. 15, 2026, with applicants aged 18 to 40 eligible to apply, according to a statement from the foundation.
The programme, founded by Captain (Rtd.) Prince Kofi Amoabeng, is designed to combine leadership education with practical training, mentorship and professional exposure.
Selected scholars will undergo an intensive curriculum that includes military training, leadership boot camps, one-on-one mentorship, job shadowing, cultural immersion and leadership seminars.
The initiative by the foundation seeks to address what the founder describes as a leadership deficit that is limiting Africa’s ability to realise its economic and social potential.
The programme places emphasis on four core values, integrity, professionalism, innovation and respect for all.
The foundation said its objective is to develop leaders capable of influencing Ghana and the wider continent through ethical decision-making, discipline and resilience.
Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable GH¢100 application fee. Applications are being accepted through the foundation’s application portal until 11:59 p.m. GMT on Sept. 15.
The foundation was established as a non-profit organisation focused on developing ethical, entrepreneurial and patriotic leaders. It said the year-long programme is intended to go beyond classroom-based leadership training by exposing participants to practical experiences and professional networks.
