MTN Fintech has partnered with Network International to boost digital payments by expanding card issuance services across Africa, with initial operations set to begin in Rwanda, Uganda, Ivory Coast, and Nigeria.
Network International, a prominent facilitator of digital commerce in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), has been designated as the Payment Processor – Issuing partner for MTN Group Fintech, Africa’s top mobile financial services provider. This new alliance significantly broadens Network’s issuer processing collaborations throughout the continent.
Operating in over 50 countries and serving more than 250 financial institutions, Network International will leverage its extensive experience to enhance MTN Fintech’s innovative mobile services, thereby delivering increased value to stakeholders and customers across Africa.
The collaboration will initially roll out card issuance products in key MTN Fintech markets, starting with Rwanda, where services are already up and running. Uganda, Ivory Coast, and Nigeria will soon follow under this initiative. Network International will offer a wide array of services—including transaction processing, card management, and online fraud prevention, to ensure that MTN Fintech users enjoy a seamless experience integrating both traditional mobile services and cutting-edge digital payment solutions.
