Ghana’s horticulture industry will bring farmers, exporters, processors, investors and international buyers together in Accra in September as the sector seeks to expand market opportunities and support the country’s export diversification agenda.
The Ghana International Horticulture Expo 2026 will take place from Sept. 3 to 5 at the Palms Convention Centre at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel under the theme “From Soil to Sovereignty: Building Ghana’s Agricultural Self-Reliance”.
The third edition of the expo is expected to connect producers with buyers, processors, investors and new markets, according to the president of the Federation of Associations of Ghanaian Exporters, Davies Narh Korboe.
The event will also bring together financial institutions, technology companies, policymakers and international buyers, creating opportunities for business-to-business engagements and investment discussions.
Francis Kojo Kwarteng Arthur, chief executive officer of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), said horticulture has the potential to contribute to Ghana’s efforts to diversify its exports.
The expo will feature exhibitions and discussions focused on financing, standards, packaging, logistics, value addition and market access, alongside agritech innovations and investment opportunities.
The event is expected to provide a platform for businesses across the horticulture value chain to explore commercial partnerships and opportunities to expand the sector’s reach into new markets.
