Ghana will host the Managing Innovation for Impact Adaptive Leadership Programme from Dec. 7 to 10, 2026, giving innovation managers, practitioners and funders an opportunity to strengthen their skills in managing and scaling innovation.
The programme is being organised through a collaboration between the Private Sector and Innovation Promotion (PSInno) programme and the International Development Innovation Alliance (IDIA). Applications close on Aug. 28, 2026, and organisers said slots are limited.
The four-day programme will focus on strengthening leadership and innovation management skills, providing practical tools for addressing complex development challenges and deepening participants’ understanding of innovation scaling and ecosystem strengthening.
Participants will also have an opportunity to learn from experienced experts and practitioners and build connections with a global community of innovation leaders.
The programme is in its eighth year and is designed to equip professionals with tools, strategies and networks to translate innovation into sustainable development impact in a rapidly changing environment.
The PSInno programme is commissioned by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in cooperation with Ghana’s Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry.
The programme’s collaboration with IDIA forms part of the effort to strengthen innovation practice and the capacity of professionals working on development challenges.
