The Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications and the Electronic Money Issuers (EMIs) Chamber of Ghana have called on the newly appointed leadership of Ghana’s parliamentary committees to prioritize strategic policies that will fast-track the country’s digital transformation and economic growth.
Following the appointments of Hon. Bandim Abed-Nego Azumah as Chairperson of the Information and Communications Committee and Hon. Isaac Adongo as Chairperson of the Finance Committee, both chambers emphasize the urgent need to create investment-friendly regulations that enhance telecommunications and digital finance industries, two key pillars of Ghana’s economic progress.
Today, telecommunications and digital finance are fundamental to the country’s socio-economic development, enabling seamless connectivity, financial inclusion, and technological innovation.
