The GSE Composite Index remained unchanged at 6,004.72 points, while the GSE Financial Stocks Index also held firm at 3,244.82 points. Year-to-date, both indices continue to reflect strong growth, with the Composite Index up 22.83% and financial stocks posting a gain of 36.29%.
The Composite Index, which had dipped below the 6,000 mark last week after two weeks of steady declines, appears to be stabilizing again, suggesting a cautious but possible recovery.

Trading activity was modest. A total of 3,803 shares changed hands, with a market value of GH¢792,557.37. Market capitalization edged slightly lower to GH¢134.10 billion, from GH¢134.13 billion recorded at the close of the previous session.
The only price movement came from NewGold ETF (GLD), which declined by GH¢8.67 to close at GH¢355.00. The drop represents a 2.39% dip from its previous close. NewGold also accounted for the bulk of Monday’s activity, with 2,220 shares traded, valued at GH¢788,100.00.
The broader market remained calm, with no gains or losses registered by other listed equities.
