Ghana’s agricultural sector will take the spotlight at the prestigious Fruit Attraction 2024, held in Madrid, Spain, from October 8th to 10th. Leading the delegation is Maphlix Trust Ghana Limited, renowned for exporting high-quality yams, sweet potatoes, and vegetables from the country’s fertile lands.
This year marks Ghana’s fourth participation in the event, underscoring its dedication to promoting its agricultural wealth globally.
Felix Kamasa, President of the Vegetable Exporters Association, emphasized the significance of the exhibition for boosting Ghana’s international agricultural presence. He told The High Street Journal that the event will feature staple produce like gari, yams, and sweet potatoes while providing a platform for building strong global partnerships. “By showcasing these foods, we aim to promote Ghana’s rich agricultural heritage and open new markets for our farmers and exporters,” Kamasa said.

The exhibition will position Ghana as a major player in the global agricultural market, showcasing the quality and sustainability of its produce. Kamasa highlighted that this fourth participation represents Ghana’s consistent efforts to gain international recognition, fostering new business opportunities and strengthening trade relations for the benefit of farmers, exporters, and the national economy.
