Ghana’s Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has reaffirmed the country’s commitment to fostering economic development by welcoming international businesses and investments.
On social media platform X, Dr. Forson expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the nation in his current role while outlining his vision to address Ghana’s economic challenges.
“I am deeply humbled and grateful to the Almighty God for this opportunity to serve Ghana in the capacity of Finance Minister,” he stated, thanking President Mahama, Parliament, and the people of Ghana for their trust.
Dr. Forson emphasized his administration’s priorities, including reducing inflation, stabilizing the Cedi, creating jobs, and promoting inclusive growth. He assured Ghanaians that efforts are underway to build a resilient economy that provides equal opportunities for all.
“Together, we will work to bring down inflation, stabilise the Cedi, create jobs, foster inclusive growth, and create opportunities for all Ghanaians,” Dr. Forson said.
The Finance Minister also highlighted Ghana’s readiness to collaborate with the global business community, declaring, “Ghana is open for business. We welcome partnerships and investments that will drive sustainable development and prosperity for all.”
