The Food, Agriculture, Technology & Sustainability Conference (FATAS 2025), hosted by Ho Technical University, is set to convene leading innovators, researchers, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and industry experts to shape the future of food systems in Africa and beyond.
Scheduled for November 17–18, 2025, the two-day conference will be held under the theme “Rethinking the Future of Food & Its Allied Systems in an Era of Sustainability & Circularity.” The event is expected to serve as a key platform for exchanging knowledge, fostering collaboration, and showcasing transformative solutions that merge sustainability with innovation.
According to the organizers, FATAS 2025 will explore emerging trends and technologies in agri-tech, food processing, post-harvest management, renewable energy for agriculture, biotechnology, smart farming, and sustainable value chains. The event will feature keynote addresses from Prof. Eric Yirenkyi Danquah and Prof. Mrs. Ibok Nsa Oduro, with Eric Opoku, Minister of Food and Agriculture, in attendance to engage stakeholders on Ghana’s agricultural transformation agenda.
FATAS 2025 will also feature an exhibition segment where agribusinesses, startups, and development organizations can showcase innovations and sustainable technologies to a diverse audience of investors and policymakers.
