As airlines increasingly compete on experience rather than airfare alone, Emirates is betting that curated leisure offerings will sway travellers planning winter getaways from Ghana.
The airline has unveiled a limited-time Dubai travel incentive that bundles complimentary lifestyle experiences with return flights, reflecting a broader shift in how airlines package travel as an end-to-end leisure product rather than simple transportation.
Under the offer, customers who book return Emirates flights from Accra to Dubai by December 21 will receive complimentary access to two premium attractions: a sunset dinner cruise along Dubai Marina and entry to the Arte Museum Dubai, a multi-sensory digital art destination. The offer applies to travel between January 7 and March 18, 2026, a peak leisure period for winter travel to the Middle East.
Industry analysts note that such bundled incentives help destinations like Dubai maintain strong visitor numbers during high-competition seasons, while giving travellers clearer value for money at a time when discretionary spending is under pressure.
The sunset cruise, operated by Xclusive Yachts, offers travellers a curated dining and sightseeing experience aboard a glass houseboat, combining hospitality, entertainment and waterfront views of the city’s skyline. The Arte Museum experience, meanwhile, taps into the growing global demand for immersive art and digital culture, blending visual installations with sound and scent to create a fully sensory environment.
Beyond the complimentary experiences, Emirates continues to position Dubai as a winter leisure hub through its My Emirates Pass, which provides travellers with access to more than 700 retail, dining and entertainment discounts across the city. The airline’s Skywards loyalty programme further extends the leisure value chain, allowing travellers to earn and redeem miles on hotels, shopping, car rentals and events.
Emirates currently operates daily flights between Accra and Dubai, underlining the importance of the Ghana market within its African network. The airline says the latest promotion aligns with its broader strategy of encouraging longer stays and higher visitor spend by linking air travel with tourism experiences.
For Ghanaian travellers, the offer highlights a growing trend in leisure travel, where flights, entertainment and lifestyle experiences are increasingly bundled to deliver convenience, value and memorable holidays in a single purchase.
