Global Chairman of Groupe Nduom, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, has announced his intention to reclaim all assets he alleges were unlawfully seized from his conglomerate.
During a recent live Facebook broadcast, he accused some ‘powerful individuals’ of illegitimately taking over these assets, including a specific piece of land that was reportedly appropriated by a government official who has since constructed on it.
The latest development signals the ongoing frustrations regarding the management of his company’s assets, particularly after the revocation of GN Bank’s license in 2019.
He emphasized that those responsible for the illegal appropriation should cease their actions, threatening to disclose their identities in future broadcasts.
The chairman’s claims come amid broader allegations of mismanagement and fraud involving Groupe Nduom’s operations.
He highlighted the deteriorating condition of various properties and equipment, which he attributes to negligence by appointed receivers following the bank’s closure.
In his address, Dr. Nduom expressed dissatisfaction with the handling of the company’s assets, stating that many items had been stolen or neglected.
He stressed the need for accountability among those involved in the alleged misappropriation.
The controversy surrounding Groupe Nduom is compounded by ongoing legal battles, including a lawsuit filed by Birim Group LLC alleging money laundering and fraud against Nduom and his family.
The Nduoms have vehemently denied these accusations, labeling them as politically motivated smears aimed at tarnishing their reputation.
