Dr. Nana Kweku Nduom, President of Groupe Nduom Ghana, emphasized the importance of resilience for long-term success in Ghana’s hospitality industry during a speech at the 25th anniversary celebration of Nine Lessons, Carols, and Musical Concert at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra.
Reflecting on the industry’s challenges, Dr. Nduom pointed out that global crises such as the Ebola and COVID-19 pandemics, along with safety threats, have tested the survival of hospitality businesses, often pushing them to the brink of collapse. These efforts have enabled the hotel to continue providing high-quality services to its customers.
Dr. Nduom also praised the hotel’s 25-year journey, attributing its success to discipline, perseverance, and good business habits. He confidently asserted that if the hotel could survive the severe challenges posed by global pandemics, it could withstand any future crises.
Mr. Ralph Ayitey, the General Manager of Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, reiterated the hotel’s commitment to worker welfare, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
