The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has urged deeper collaboration with industry players to strengthen compliance with cybersecurity regulations, particularly among operators of Critical Information Infrastructure (CII).
During a working visit to SGS Ghana Ltd., Acting Director-General of the CSA, Mr. Divine Selase Agbeti, stressed that regulatory adherence was essential to safeguarding Ghana’s digital ecosystem. He called on businesses and institutions managing CII to create more opportunities for engagement and knowledge-sharing.

“We encourage industry players to organise forums that build the capacity of stakeholders across the various CII sectors. Regulatory compliance is not just a legal requirement; it is a critical step in protecting our national digital infrastructure,” Mr. Agbeti said.
Responding on behalf of SGS Ghana, Chief Executive Officer Samuel Kiki Gyan underscored the importance of enforcement and compliance in securing the ecosystem. “We trust the leadership of the CSA and are committed to working with the Authority to ensure that regulations are fully implemented,” Mr. Gyan noted.

The CSA has identified compliance among CII owners, including institutions in sectors such as finance, energy, health, and telecommunications, as central to safeguarding critical national systems from cyber threats. Both organisations signaled their readiness to collaborate on joint initiatives that enhance resilience and foster a safer digital economy.
