Cassava Technologies, a technology company of African heritage, said it had launched the Cassava Cloud Partner (CCP) programme to accelerate adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud services in Africa and Latin America.
The programme will allow mobile network operators and system integrators to consume, resell or distribute AI, cloud, and digital services using Cassava’s infrastructure.
Ahmed El Beheiry, Cassava’s Group COO and Chief Technology & AI Officer, said the initiative aims to build Africa’s sovereign AI ecosystem and enable enterprises and developers to deploy AI solutions tailored to the continent’s needs.
“We are expanding Africa’s sovereign AI ecosystem to build solutions that address the continent’s unique challenges while creating new opportunities for growth and digital inclusion,” he said.
The CCP programme offers access to NVIDIA Cloud Partner solutions, Cassava’s AI Factory, native AI solutions, and CAIMEx, a localised multi-model platform for AI services. The company said the initiative lowers barriers to entry by reducing upfront infrastructure costs while maintaining local compliance and data control.
Cassava Technologies, headquartered in the UK, operates across Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and the United States. Its units include Cassava AI, Liquid Intelligent Technologies, Africa Data Centres, and Sasai Fintech.
