The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has rolled out an upgraded Government of Ghana electronic pay-slip system for all public sector workers on the National Payroll, aimed at improving transparency, security and ease of access to payroll information.
In a statement signed by Mr Cephas N. Dosoo, Head of Public Relations, on behalf of the Controller and Accountant-General, the Department said the new system requires employees to use their National Identification Authority (NIA) numbers to access their pay slips, a move intended to enhance accuracy and safeguard personal payroll data.
According to the statement, public sector workers are required to log on to https://gogepayservices.com to complete a registration process. This includes verification using an employee number and Ghana Card number.
Users must also confirm or update their phone numbers, now a mandatory requirement via a one-time password (OTP).
The registration process further requires employees to create a new password and select a security question and answer to enable future password recovery. Providing an email address, however, remains optional.
To assist users with the transition, the Department said it has published a step-by-step instructional video on how to access and use the upgraded electronic pay-slip system, available at https://youtu.be/wraUiX0C8wk.
The CAGD encouraged employees who need additional support or wish to offer feedback to contact the Department through the following numbers: 0303987950, 0303987951, 0247360841, 0245289771, or 0246968301.
