Asante Kotoko has announced key changes to its Interim Management Committee (IMC), in line with a directive from His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Manhyia Palace. Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, a key member, will no longer serve on the IMC, a move intended to allow him to fully focus on his role as Head Coach of the team.
This restructuring is part of the club’s broader strategy to optimize its operations and align its leadership with the long-term vision set by the Palace. The decision underscores Asante Kotoko’s commitment to maintaining a clear focus on achieving success both on and off the field.
A statement from the club confirmed that the changes aim to improve administrative processes and provide robust support for the playing and technical teams. With a renewed emphasis on leadership, the IMC’s goal is to drive the club towards sustained success and operational efficiency.

The adjustments come as Asante Kotoko seeks to strengthen its brand image, ensuring that its operations reflect the professional standards required to thrive in the competitive landscape of Ghanaian football. Despite a challenging start to the new Premier League season, including four consecutive losses, the club’s recent 2-0 victory over Aduana Stars marks a positive turnaround.
In a show of gratitude to its supporters, Asante Kotoko reiterated its unwavering commitment to excellence, focusing on both short-term performance and long-term growth strategies to enhance its legacy and solidify its market position in African football.
