Apple is set to unveil new Mac computers featuring the M4 chip next week, as teased by Greg Joswiak, Apple’s marketing executive, in a social media post. He promised an exciting “week of announcements,” beginning Monday morning.
The new lineup is expected to include iMac, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini models powered by the M4 chip, which enhances processing speeds and boosts artificial intelligence performance. Apple Intelligence, the company’s new AI platform, will also launch soon, integrated into updates for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.
The M4 chip was originally introduced in the latest iPad Pro, but now it will make its way into the Mac series. While the design of the iMac and MacBook Pro will largely remain the same, the Mac mini is undergoing its first major redesign in over a decade, shrinking to a size closer to the Apple TV set-top box. The new mini will feature five USB-C ports and higher-end versions of the M4 chip in premium models.

Apple will also refresh its Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad accessories, replacing the Lightning port with USB-C for charging, in line with new European Union regulations.
This Mac unveiling follows Apple’s September event, where the iPhone 16, new Apple Watches, and updated AirPods were revealed
